Hi,

I am so happy to collaborate with friends, especially those at Mohinders!

Mohinders is a shoe company based in San Francisco, California. As the story goes, Michael Paratore left his job as a corporate lawyer to grow this brand with creative director Kristen Morabito.

The Project

We came together with a particular vision for the black slide and I am pleased to have worked with them testing models and hand dying a limited batch of these artisan made leather city slides. 

The leather is first tanned with Myrobalan and Acacia, formed and assembled by hand by third-generation master artisans in Athani Village, India. The shoes are then carefully, individually hand dyed in small batches with a special iron extract by me for you in San Francisco, California.
